ST. TIMOTHY STRONG

Contact principal George Mosholder for details (email@example.com).
DIOCESE OF COLUMBUS TUITION ASSISTANCE
Donors across the Diocese of Columbus have been generous in their gifts to tuition assistance funds. These funds are dispersed yearly to families with demonstrated financial need through a distribution process that takes into account family need, total number of children applying for aid, and total amount of funds available that year. Families must apply each year for tuition assistance. The deadline for Diocesan financial assistance for 2016/2017 has passed, but the application process is very similar from year to year. To apply for the Diocese of Columbus Tuition Assistance Program:
- You must be registered in one of the Diocesan schools by March 15, 2017.
- The Diocese will only accept ONLINE APPLICATIONS (www.factstuitionaid.com), the application must be submitted and verified by March 15, 2017 and supporting documentation must be postmarked by March 15, 2017. (Please file early in case additional documentation is requested by FACTS.)
- Payment of the $30.00 application fee must accompany the application.
- Only one application per family is required.

does st. timothy offer discounted tuition for active parish families?
YES! The members of St. Timothy parish have always been generous in their support of our parish school, knowing that they are helping to form the children of the parish in the Catholic faith. While many other parish schools in the area no longer offer discounted tuition to active parish families, we believe it is the mutual responsibility of both parents and the parish to support our school. The enthusiastic support of our parish allows St. Timothy School to offer significant tuition discounts to active parish families. As in 2015/2016, the St. Timothy Parish will support active school families by paying 29% of the cost to educate the children from active parish families.
whAT is an "ACTIVE" parish family?
Active parish families are defined as those who actively participate in the life of the parish by
- regularly attending Mass at St. Timothy Church and
- making regular (tax-deductible) contributions to the weekly offertory collection used to subsidize tuition at St. Timothy School.
Inactive families are defined as those who are not registered members of St. Timothy parish or who do not actively participate in parish life (through regular Mass attendance and contributions to the weekly offertory collection).
St. Timothy Church uses funds from the weekly offertory collection to subsidize tuition. Active parish families benefit from a tuition subsidy in which the parish pays 29% of the actual cost - between $1,752 and $12,425 - for each active parish family.
